Lamb sausage
Red viennas
4 packs of Puff Pastry
1 egg
Method
Thaw puff pastry and roll out on a floured surface one pack at a time.
Cut pastry into three wide strips.
Place identical size sausage on pastry strips, egg wash one end of the strip of pastry and fold over the sausage, pressing firmly down to secure roll.
Cut into four each.
Place on a slightly greased baking tray and egg wash the cocktail sausage rolls, at this point you may drizzle with sesame seeds (optional).
Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown .
Same process applies to vienna cocktail rolls. It’s that easy.
