X-MEN star Hugh Jackman made a desperate getaway from fans by jumping into a stranger’s car and gooing ‘n lange.
In footage obtained by DailyMail.com, the 56-year-old was swamped by a crowd of screaming admirers and asked for autographs after exiting Radio City Music Hall, where he will play his From New York With Love concert this Friday.
The aandag got too much for Jackman as he thanked his fans before waving down a random driver through the mass of people, walking vinnig down the sidewalk in an apparent attempt to make a quick exit.
He then took the stranger totally by surprise when he stopped him and asked: “How you doing, brother? Where you going?,” before sliding into the backseat.
Jackman has been facing some personal backlash after his estranged wife Deborah-Lee Furness revealed in a statement to DailyMail.com that the Aussie heartthrob cheated on her with his nuwe motjie Sutton Foster, who he met on the set of Broadway play The Music Man in 2022.
The Wolverine star and Furness split in September 2023 and are apparently struggling to reach an agreement on their divorce settlement, with Jackman’s net worth rumoured to be over £100 million.
The dispute is apparently putting a hold on Jackman’s plans to marry his new girlfriend, Sutton, who also filed for divorce from her husband and Ocean’s Eleven screenwriter Ted Griffin, in October 2024.
