BENNIFER REUNITED?

THE internet is buzzing with fan reaction to Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s  joint red carpet appearance on Monday night. 

The former married couple met up for the premiere of Kiss Of The Spider Woman in New York City and it sent tonge klapping. 

This marked their first official event together since their divorce was finalised in February 2025, and both stars looked super cosy together as they posed for snapshots before the cameras.

Lopez, who takes centre stage in the new film, and Affleck, who produced it, appeared remarkably relaxed and cheerful, sending shockwaves through social media. 

Onlookers were quick to speculate if there was more brewing between the former couple. 

Their romance kicked off in the early 2000s before breaking up in 2004. 

Some 17 years later, Ben and J-Lo rekindled their relationship in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022, only to see their second shot at love end in a very public divorce saga.

But that didn’t stop netizens from thinking that they could be third time lucky.

One fan on X joked: "3rd time's a charm... come on!”

Others were less convinced, insisting that the duo was merely upholding professional obligations, though many couldn't dismiss the whirlwind of romantic nostalgia that seemed to hang in the air.

"These two are a mess, but they’re perfect for each other," commented one astute observer. Meanwhile, many applauded the duo for their ability to put personal differences aside for the sake of the film and, perhaps, for their fond memories together.

Some fans even theorised that Lopez’s inner circle would be moeg of hearing about her on-and-off relationship with the Hollywood star. 

"Her besties must be TIRED," one poster quipped. 

Others hinted that the ex-couple might have been putting on a united front amid worries that their project could flop at the box office, echoing earlier concerns that "this film is getting zero press." 

One comment drew comparisons to J-Lo and Affleck’s panned box-office flop Gigli.

Despite the speculation of rekindled romance, the highlight of the evening was a heartfelt moment when Lopez expressed gratitude to Affleck from the stage. "Thank you, Ben, this movie wouldn’t have been made without you," she said, a poignant nod to their shared history.

Apart from getting close to talk quietly, J-Lo and Ben gave no clues or confirmation of their relationship status.
