IN A saga that feels more like reality television than celebrity news, Kanye 'Ye' West and new wife Bianca Censori appear to be on the warpath with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

This showdown is unfolding against the backdrop of the fashion world, where Kardashian’s shapewear line SKIMS accounts for a staggering 75 per cent of her fortune.

Censori, a 30-year-old Australian designer, is set to release her own label, Bianca, on 11 December - delayed from its initial launch date.

With this new brand, she aims to carve out a niche for herself in the competitive world of shapewear, where Kardashian reigns supreme since co-founding her now $4 billion company in 2019.

Despite the challenges of launching a new brand, Censori has begun teasing her upcoming collection to her 493 000 Instagram followers.

Recently, she showcased items like bras and waist cinchers—fashion choices that have drawn mixed reviews, with some critics suggesting a nod to retro styles. Interestingly, her choice of style, featuring panties worn over tights, raises questions about her fashion sensibilities.

Amidst this budding rivalry, Censori’s social media strategy is telling; she has made it a point to tag fashion guru Marc Jacobs in her posts.

While Jacobs’ line does not include shapewear, speculations are rampant that she may be pursuing a collaboration with the iconic designer, who once featured Kim Kardashian as the face of his campaign.

According to insiders, this conflict is set to transcend mere competition.

A source revealed: “Kanye sees this as his revenge play – he's determined to outdo Kim on every front.”

“It seems this new brand is not just a venture for Censori; it is also a means for West to indirectly challenge Kardashian.

Kardashian, in the meantime, is reportedly fuming over these developments and is convinced that West is orchestrating this through his new wife.

This accusation gains weight when considering Censori's promotional images, which have drawn comparisons to SKIMS' aesthetic.

Beyond the power struggle in the fashion industry, a more personal narrative unfolds. West currently provides around R3 458 000 a month in papgeld for their four children, who have reportedly not heard from him in several months.

As the family dynamics shift, West continues to work on his music; his 11th studio album, titled Bully, is expected to be released soon, with a live performance on the horizon.
