'OUR BOND WASN’T STRONG ENOUGH'

TOM Cruise and his jong bokkie Ana de Armas’s relationship is reportedly over, with the pair apparently realising the spark between them is gone. 

The 63-year-old Cruise and De Arnas, 37, were bymekaar for just a few months, with reports earlier this year suggesting that the Mission Impossible star was “super smitten” with the Bond girl. 

However, the early indications were that she was perhaps not koppeling the same feelings, with a source telling Us Weekly at the time that she wasn’t looking for something serious. 

According to The Sun in the UK, a source has now told them: “Tom and Ana had a good time together, but their time as a couple has run its course. 

“They are going to remain good friends, but they aren’t dating anymore. They just realised they weren’t going to go the distance and that they are better off as mates.”

The source added: “The spark had gone between them but they still love each other’s company and they’ve both been really adult about it.

“She’s already been cast in his next film, so they will continue to work together.”

The Daily Voice reported in May that Cruise was head over heels for De Armas, but that the Cuban hottie wasn’t koppeling the same feelings.

This after they were spotted getting cozy and spending loads of time together.

A source told Us Weekly at the time that Cruise has found himself “super smitten” with de Armas and quickly caught “feelings” for her.

The insider claimed: “They’ve gone out on some dates, and it’s very low-key. It’s in the early stages, and he’s been courting her.”

But the source added: “She isn’t looking for anything to move too fast; she’s taking it really slow.”

Cruise was previously married to Mimi Rogers between 1987 and 1990, Nicole Kidman between 1990 and 2001 and Katie Holmes between 2006 and 2012. 

De Arnas was married to Spanish actor and model Marc Clotet between 2011 and 2013.
