IT’S TIME TO MAN UP

ATHLONE Stadium is the place to be this Saturday for the Mighty Men Conference. 

The Angus Buchan-led event will take place from 2pm to 6pm and will feature the likes of Neville D, Ivor Swartz and Johnny Davids. 

The aim of the event, according to their website, is to “bring hope to men affected by gang violence and serve as a voice for change in the Western Cape”.

Sign me up. 

The focus will be to “address the pandemic of gangsterism by delivering a message of hope, transformation, and restoration to communities”.

They expect about 20 000 to 25 000 manne to pitch up to the event. 

What a great event this promises to be. If 25 000 manne from the Western Cape can stand together in one stadium and pray for the Cape Flats, I am sure we can make a big impact. 

The event kicks off at 2pm and closes at 6pm, doors open at 12pm. 

Best of all, tickets are free. Let’s stand together and pray for change on the Cape Flats and the Mother City as a whole. See you there.
