TWO meisies and a ou were shot in Valhalla Park in what is believed to be a gang-related incident.

According to Daily Voice sources, it is alleged that the unknown gunmen rocked up with white VW Polo and went into a house where the two girls and the man were in and shot them.

They further stated that one of the minors was shot in her eye while the other was shot in her stomach.

Police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk reports: “Bishop Lavis police registered three counts of attempted murder following a shooting incident on Tuesday, 27 May 2025 at about 7pm in Matthew Street, Valhalla Park, where three victims including two females aged 15 and 17 and a 34-year-old male were shot and injured.

“The three victims were transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

The Daily Voice has reached out to the close friends of the victim, the Bishop Lavis Crime Prevention Forum (BLCPF) and the Bishop Lavis ward councillor, however, we did not receive a comment before going to print.
