We’re counting down to the ‘local is lekker’ grand affair, the Daily Voice’s Diamonds and Divas’ fifth edition. 

Mark the date: Saturday, 13 September 2025. Let your friends, your sisters, and your squad know you’ve got a date from 11am to 3pm, and the only place to be at is The Venue in Schaapkraal, dressed in a gewaarlike sparkling pink nommertjie. 

The red carpet will be rolled out, the glam will be turned all the way up, and our top-tier local artists are ready to blow your high heels off and get you down. 

Expect live performances, good vibes, and unforgettable moments. Another year, another jol, only this time, the volume’s turned all the way up.

Salome, the rose amongst the thorns, said: “This event is truly special and humbling for me, it feels so relatable. I’m just a girl from the Plain who’s faced almost every obstacle that an ordinary woman goes through, and yet I’m still rising. “Sharing a room and performing for women like me is a real honour.” 

Alongside the powerhouse Salome is MC Peadon Smith, bringing his vibrant energy and authenticity to every stage he steps on. 

Sharing the spotlight is Fagrie Isaacs, smooth, soulful, and in a league of his own. When he sings, the crowd feels every word and the effortlessly charmer Mujahid George, a true crowd favourite who lights up every stage he touches.
