SPRINGBOK fans are erg kwaad at their team after the back-to-back World Champions unveiled there new training kit at their first practice session in Johannesburg for the upcoming international season on Monday.

The new training kit jersey keeps the traditional Bok green while the shoulders and arms are covered in Bok gold with three zigzagged lines of gold trim running from top to bottom.

But what has irked Bok fans the most, is new partner sponsor Pick n Pay’s logo – in the retailer’s original blue and red colours - on a white backdrop running across the chest.

But while the Pick n Pay sponsorship bulges the Bok wallet, some fans reckon their heroes have lost the plot by splashing the retailer’s logo in front of the trui.

@BrendonWessels wrote on X: “That shirt looks like something you get from a promotion when you buy 5 shots of Jagermeister”, while @Johan_Jordaan tweeted: “Nope, can’t stand this kit, fix it before the real prep starts”.

FIXED: Twitter user reckons he has the solution

@iamkoshiek reckons of how the training kit looks like something suited for an Indian Premier League cricket team: “look at how they massacred our boys – out here looking like extras in Bollywood… keep these bad jersey designs for the IPL

And after comparing the much-hated 2023 Rugby World Cup away kit that got compared to a Checkers Sixty60 outfit, @RizzleSimms writes: “I take it back. The Checkers shirt isn’t too bad”.

But not all Bok fans were mega negas about the new oefentrui with @odevill saying: “Nice new training top from SA Rugby, but that Pick n Pay logo looks like a cheap iron-on. Hopefully, it’s not here to stay, it would be pretty awful as a permanent fixture on the official jersey, especially front and center on the chest.

And @rugbyphilosophy reckons he has a solution for the Boks after posting “Fixed it” along with a photo of Springbok captain in a training jersey with the Pick ‘n Pay logo written in gold letters.
