JASPER Wiese smaak die Hane rasper and cut them down to size when he and his Springbok manskap tackle the French in Saturday’s 10.10pm Test match in Paris.
All week long, the hosts have been talking about a revenge mission after South Africa sent them packing at the quarter-final stage of the 2023 World Cup in France.
Die Hane are erg bitter after that one-point loss as the Boks went on to lift the Webb Ellis Cup back-to-back.
However, bulldozing No.8 Wiese, skrik nie for France’s threats and wants to wys who the biggest bullies are on the rugby park when they come up against a giant Les Bleus pack.
Wiese wysed: “From a forwards perspective, you know what’s coming... They are big boys who are going to try and bully you. As a forward, it is important to stop their momentum.
“I think we analysed them well this week… and that is definitely going to be where it comes down to, both forward packs; who is going to dominate who and all of us are looking forward to that.”
Hearing scrumhalf Maxime Lucu and his Hane manskap talk of how the Boks stole their World Cup, Wiese says that has made them even more determined to deliver a double dose of pain at the Stade de France.
He explained: “I think they have a lot of hurt still after that game in 2023 and obviously as you can see, they are coming out and saying it is for revenge.
“It is going to be a good challenge I think [their pain] was genuine after the World Cup, so I think we can expect them to be very emotional and up for this game.
“[But] if there is one game we need to be up for, it is going to be this game.”
