KEEP the same energy that helped beat France for the match against Italy in Parma, or run the risk of going down against the Azzurri like Australia did last weekend.
That in a nutshell is what the Boks need to peg back a confident Italy, according to assistant Bok coach Tony Brown.
Brown says he was left impressed by how the Azzurri did a number on the Wallabies at the weekend, as the Italians won 26-19 at Stadio Friuli in Udine.
It was the second time in four years that Italy managed to klap the Wallabies.
Brown wysed: “Italy were outstanding against Australia. They had massive threats at the breakdown where they got numerous turnovers against Australia.
“And then they were just so dangerous when they got space and opportunity [to score points].”
The Boks are also on a high after klapping France 32-17 with just 14 men on the park.
But that does not mean the Boks will kyk the Italians vlak, says Brown, who said: “We are definitely not taking Italy lightly.”
The Bokke are also waiting on the outcome of Lood de Jager’s disciplinary hearing after he got red-carded for a dangerous tackle against France, on Wednesday.
