FOLLOWING their shock 1-0 defeat to Brazil’s Botafogo in the battle between Europe’s Champions’s League winners and South America’s Copa Libertadores champs, PSG are out to fight back against Seattle Sounders FC tonight.

Up for grabs in this Club World Cup Group B match at 9pm is a place in the playoffs for coach Luis Enrique and his men.

PSG are currently in second place on the log with three points - three behind Botafogo, who face third-placed Atletico Madrid (also on three points) in their match also at 9pm.

Enrique said after going down: “We knew it was going to be a very difficult match - they defended very well.

“This Club World Cup is very intense and difficult, and all the teams are highly motivated, especially when they’re playing against us.”

The PSG manager, though, was adamant that the European champions still had plenty of time to resurrect their campaign, adding: “If there’s a team that can turn it around, it’s our team. We’ve got to analyse this and there’s things we can improve. But I think our performance was good.”

Group A, meanwhile, will conclude in the early hours of Tuesday, with third-placed Porto facing Al fourth-placed Ahly - both on one point - in the hopes of catching top dogs Palmeiras (four points) and Inter Miami (also four) who cross swords at the same time.
