MAY BE FINAL GAME: Mo Salah

THINGS are looking bleak at Anfield after 15 rounds of Premier League action this season.
As the defending champions gear up to get ready to host Brighton at Anfield on Saturday at 5pm, they find themselves in 10th place on the log with seven wins, two draws and six defeats to date.
The visiting Seagulls are two places above the Reds – level on 23 points, but with a superior goal difference.
What hurts more than Brighton being higher up than coach Arne Slot’s span is the fact that Manchester United on 25 points are in sixth place.
Former Reds leftback John Arne Riise, though, believes it’s just temporary and that his club will climb the standings.
The Norwegian told FootItalia: “I’m quite sure Liverpool will finish higher than Manchester United.
“Even though I have to say I do want United up there again, because we need Manchester United up there fighting for Champions League spots and stuff.
“I really want Ruben Amorim to do well as well because I think he’s had a hard time since he came to the club and he still is quite stubborn.
“But yeah, Liverpool is going to finish above Man United, no question about that.”
The Reds will, at least temporarily, go past United – who host Bournemouth on Monday – should they beat Brighton.
Meanwhile, reports in the UK are suggesting that the Brighton game could be a farewell event for Liverpool yster Mo Salah, who has been sidelined of late and recently hit out at coach Slot.
Salah is off to the African Cup of Nations after Saturday's game and is not expected to take any part in the clash.
