With no Currie Cup action, rugby faithful flocked to Newlands on Saturday to watch the best of the best in Cape club rugby.

People had a jol of a time in the Cape sun, with the smell of braavleis adding to the gees at the stadium.

And there was no shortage of on-field action, as Macassar beat Busy Bees to Super League C gold.

In the Super League B final, Paarl beat Primrose, while Maties got the better of Durbell in the Super League A decider.
