Imagine getting paid for talking k**.
That’s what Cape Town comedians Kenwyn Davids, Yaaseen Barns and Simon Orgill are doing after officially launching their online talk show called, well, The Talk Kak Show, on Facebook this week.
The trio says the idea started when Simon, 33, from Heathfield, decided that their lamming it uit and talking nonsense was worth recording and sharing.
“It’s a concept about mense getting together to have a laugh and just talk k**, so we get together, sit down and come up with lagbol conversations,” he says.
“It’s a way for us to poke fun at current events and share our views. We hope people will enjoy our show and help us grow.”

The gents feature a celebrity guest every week who joins them to “just have fun and talk about stuff”.
The 10-minute show has been making people laugh on social media and they attracted 500 followers within hours of launching on Wednesday.
Yaseen, 31, from Athlone, says the comics are naturally funny so they don’t need a script.
“It’s simple, we are a group of men just wanting to be funny and make people laugh,” he says.
“Simon does give us topics to talk about, but most of the time the discussions spiral out and we end up talking k** the whole time.”
“We’re shooting one video every week and posting it. We are like the Cape Town version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? but we are just better.”
Kenwyn says while doing a photo shoot yesterday at Simon’s house, the Backstreet Boys’ hit song I Want It That Way came on the radio and they immediately whipped out a phone to record their own version.
“After just one take, we made the kinnes sopnat on Facebook with our old school boy band moves, so much so that we got over 2 200 views on that video in just a few hours,” he says.
Kenwyn, 34, from Mitchells Plain, says people are responding well to The Talk Kak Show and invite mense to join them online.
“We are making it open to the public who also want to get onto the show.”
