We’re three weeks away from crowning the new Red Bull BC One dance champion for 2020.

The world’s most prestigious breakdancing competition returns, with the national finals taking place on Sunday, 22 March, at The District in Cape Town.

Who will follow in the footsteps of last year’s winner B-Boy Benny?

There are currently 16 boys and two girls in the running for the title and we’re amped to see who will impress and represent South Africa at the Red Bull One World International Championships in Poland in November.

Besides the Red Bull BC One finals, there will also be a full day of workshopping, which is free for all enthusiasts to attend on Saturday, 21 March, at The Quay at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

The B-Boy wildcards showing their moves in the national final will be B-Boy Benny, B-Boy The Curse, B-Boy Toufeeq, B-Boy Meaty, B-Boy Shorty Blitz, B-Boy Charlton, B-Boy Kayzo, B-Boy Rhythm, B-Boy LyanKing and B-Boy Kashief.

Courtnaé is an ambassador for women in the industry and a pioneer for local female breakdancers. She lives life with no limits in sight.
