AKA has rekked his bek on the racism riots in the United States and it’s backfired.

Protests have erupted in at least 30 US cities over the death of unarmed George Floyd at the hands of a police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a week ago.

The #ICan’tBreathe hashtag trended, following the filmed incident in which Floyd was pinned under an officer’s knee, begging for his life.

Many celebrities have spoken out against racism, white supremacy and given their support to the Black Lives Matter movement.

The Fela In Versac e rapper decided to gooi in his two cents, tweeting: “People of ALL colors burning down black owned businesses in Atlanta ... when asked why, they reply ... Black Lives Matter. I’m hella confused.(sic)”

The Mitchells Plain-born star added: “African Americans ... come home. Simple as that.”

Angry tweeps commented.

T Matsilele-Chauke, Ph.D replied: “The USA is their home, they have been there for 400 years. As James Baldwin says, they set at Jameson before economic immigrants from Europe joined them. This view promotes white supremacy views that America belongs to white.”

LlysaMelanin added: “No. America is their home. They have every right to live in America like every white American. Their ancestors toiled that land as slaves giving them a legitimate reason to claim it. America is because of what their African ancestors did for it. They should fight until they belong.”
