TYLA has told the haters to druk their comments and STFU.

The South African pop star went on the attack online after a hele drama kicked off following her debut Coachella performance last weekend.

Tyla performed her hits and made headlines with a tribute to one of her style icons and musical inspirations, the late great Aaliyah.

But the haters came out in full force when she came out in a green and purple bra top paired with ultra-low-rise bedazzled jean shorts, complete with tassels.

She accessorised with a body chain necklace and opted for two different pairs of shoes: first, zebra print Dolce & Gabbana booties, which - honestly - was the star of the show and then knee-high brown boots.

Naturally, comparisons came flying in. Thousands of fans and fashion followers praised Tyla for what they believed was a nod to Britney Spears’ legendary 2001 VMAs I’m a Slave 4 U performance.

However, Tyla was quick to address these comparisons. On X, she revealed that the outfit was not meant to reference Britney’s legendary look: it wasn’t that deep.

She wrote: “Love her, but I just thought the outfit was fly. No inspo.” That shut down the speculation... or so she thought.

Despite Tyla’s clarification, her comments didn’t sit well with some of Britney’s fans. One user took to social media, accusing Tyla of being a “copycat”

Tyla responded with: “Personally, I think you should [shut the f*ck up].”

Nou toe.
