The Grammy Award-winning star, real name Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, is gatvol of the ongoing controversy surrounding the shooting incident in which fellow rapper Lanez shot her in the foot in 2020. 

Lanez was sent to the mang for 10 years. Rapper Drake has shared a petition asking California's governor for a “full pardon” for his fellow Canadian Lanez, who was attacked last week in prison.

Lanez was stabbed 14 times by a fellow inmate in a California prison last week, an attack that caused both of his lungs to collapse. 

He was rushed to a hospital and is expected to recover.

Chris Brown, who is also behind bars, after being arrested in the UK last for assaulting his music producer two years ago, has gooied his support behind Lanez too.

And Megan is bedonnerd. She took aim at the growing ‘Free Tory’ movement, saying that it’s forcing her to relive a traumatic experience she wishes to leave behind.

In a TikTok video, she rubbished resurfaced claims suggesting that Kelsey Harris, her former friend, was the actual shooter.
