People are getting more and more creative when it comes to marriage proposals these days.

From romantic surprises to spontaneous moments in public places, it seems everyone is finding new ways to pop the question.

And one couple definitely scored big at Eben Etzebeth’s recent book launch.

The Springbok player was at N1 City Mall in Cape Town to promote his autobiography, “Locked,” where fans gathered in excitement to meet him and get their books signed.

But amid the rugby cheers and selfies, something truly unexpected happened.

In a clip shared by Bargain Books on Instagram, a man can be seen going down on one knee right in front of Etzebeth and a crowd of onlookers.

Both the rugby star and the woman being proposed to looked completely taken by surprise.

Etzebeth cheered the man on as the crowd erupted in excitement.

The woman, clearly overwhelmed and smiling from ear to ear, seemed to say yes as her partner slipped the ring onto her finger.

Bargain Books captioned the heartwarming video: “When your boyfriend goes full try-line and proposes in front of @ebenetzebeth4 at his Bargain Books book launch – talk about scoring big under pressure!”

The sweet moment ended with Etzebeth congratulating the happy couple before they walked away beaming.

Since then, Bargain Books has been trying to track the newly engaged pair down.

In a follow-up Instagram story, they wrote: “We’re on the hunt for this champion couple! @jonathanballpublishers, @n1citymall and Bargain Books are lining up a surprise worthy of a post-match celebration. Help us find them!”

Here’s hoping the mystery couple comes forward soon.

Fans everywhere are eager to see what surprise Bargain Books and the team have planned for them.

The Daily Voice has reported on some snaakse marriage proposals in the past.

Four years ago, Milnerton couple Magdalene Martheze, 61, and Marlon Michaels, 40, went for lunch at Nando’s at the V&A Waterfront.

Celebrating Marlon's birthday and dating for seven months, he went down on one knee to ask Magdalene to marry him.

The Nando's owner said it was the second time they had a someone pop the question in their restaurant.
