THE Cape got more than rugby on Sunday as laaitie vannie Kaap got on the world stage.

Before the Springbok Sevens stepped onto the field for their SVNS clash against Argentina, the youngest member of the Street Kings, Jamilio Singer, delivered a moment that had the entire stadium cheering.

In a video shared by SuperSport TV on TikTok, the little dancer, already a familiar face on TikTok thanks to his adorable dance moves and fearless personality, ran onto the field at Cape Town Stadium to present the match ball.

Neatly aangetrek and full of confidence, he broke into his own mini performance after handing the rugby ball over.

As he made his way off the pitch, he proudly lifted a green and gold Springbok jersey, sending the skare into a frenzy. The roar inside the stadium said it all.

The Street Kings’ rise on social media has been nothing short of heart-warming. What started as four friends filming dance videos in Mitchells Plain grew into a heartfelt movement when they started teaching four-year-old Singer their dance moves.

They now have hundreds of thousands of followers who love their humour, creativity and the bond they share with the four-year-old who has become the heart of the group.

In many of their TikTok videos, he learns routines faster than the older ones, sometimes leading the choreography and stealing the show.

Fans see him as a source of joy, especially knowing the challenges the group faces at home. Poverty, limited opportunities and a lack of access to formal creative spaces have never stopped them.
