SOCIALS SHUTDOWN: North West, 12

NORTH West's Instagram account has mysteriously disappeared skaars three weeks after the 12-year-old made her solo social media debut.
The Daily Mail can confirm that the profile, which launched under North's own name last month, now appears as “page isn't available” when searched - a message that typically indicates an account has either been deactivated or removed.
It remains unclear whether the account was taken down by North herself, her parents - Kanye West and Kim Kardashian - or by Instagram.
Representatives for the family have not yet clarified who made the decision.
North joined the platform stilletjies late last month, sharing a single introductory post to kick off the account.
Her debut featured a stylishly blurred photograph of herself, signaling what appeared to be a carefully curated rollout.
The account's bio noted that it was ‘managed by parents’, though North’s online presence has long been a point of contention between her mother Kardashian, 45, and her father, West, 48.
West has previously criticised Kardashians for allowing his children to be active on social media.
In a 2022 clip that resurfaced online in October, the rapper said he had told Kardashian he did not want their children on social platforms, adding that he was ‘not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok’.
The account’s sudden disappearance comes amid recent online chatter and backlash surrounding North’s appearance, including speculation and criticism over visible piercings, though no official reason has been given for the account's removal.
