Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence's kids to make them oupas

COMEDY legends Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence’s children are about to make them oupas.  

Murphy’s son Eric and Lawrence's daughter Jasmin are expecting their first child after tying the knot last May.

The couple shared the exciting news on Instagram this week in a black and white photo of Jasmin, 30, showing off her baby bump, as Eric, 36, rested his head on his wife’s belly.

The couple captioned the picture: “Thank you Jesus for the greatest gift.” 

In an interview with CBS Mornings in July 2024, Eddie told Gayle King that he and hisLife costar thought it was “cool” that their kids were in a relationship.

The Shrek star said: “They’re both beautiful. They look amazing together. And it’s funny [because] everybody [asks], ‘What is that baby going to be funny?’

“Just our gene pool is going to make this funny baby. If they ever get married and have a child, I’m expecting the child to be funny.”

Whether the laaitie is funny like his oupas or not is a small detail for The Nutty Professor star.

Last May, The Nutty Professor star revealed that the couple opted to have an intimate wedding and joked that Martin didn’t have to pay for groot family do. 

He told the Jennifer Hudson Show: “They went off, everybody was making the big wedding plans, and then they decided they wanted to do something quiet with just the two of them.”
