Bookworms young and old pored over a variety of boeke at the Cape Flats Book Festival over the weekend.
The two-day reading festival, said to be the first of its kind in Mitchells Plain, was organised by NGO Read to Rise and held at West End Primary School.
The festival showcased local authors, illustrators, literacy NGOs, publishers and booksellers.
There were also book readings, talks, workshops and a puppet show for children and adults alike.
