First they were married, and then they weren’t.

Now local music couple Kelly Khumalo and Chad Da Don have cleared months of speculation by confirming on social media that they are hitched.

Well, not in so many words.

Taking to Instagram over the weekend, Kelly, 34, posted a mini video showing a moerse rock on her finger along with the caption: “Who is going to believe me?” accompanied with a ring emoji.

In the clip that was posted on Sunday, the Jehovah singer is also heard saying: “...my husband just pulled a fast one on me and the question is who is going to believe”.

On her Instagram stories, Kelly also shared a picture of the certificate of authenticity that came with her larney18 carat diamond ring.

Then taking to his Instagram account on Monday, rapper Chad, 26, posted a video of the newlyweds’ rings, with a cheeky caption.

Pepereza Pepereza Nyefe Nyefe Nyefe...Where’s her ring? You cheap Chad! How can you only have tattoos of your rings ... Should of Married a real man Kelly blah blah blah,” he wrote.

Tsek and just drink water thank you. Happy Monday. (sic)”

The post was a reference to the tattoos the couple got of each other’s initials on their ring fingers, to announce their engagement in November.

It’s been a whirlwind romance for the star duo, who started dating last October after they met on the set of one of her music videos.

By mid-November, they were engaged.

Two months later, Chad nearly broke the internet when he casually called his fiancée “wife” in an Insta post.

After fans went berserk, he was then forced to clarify: “No, we haven’t gotten married yet, calling her my wife is just slang, that’s what they call a fiancée these days, right? So it shouldn’t be an issue.”

Now, it seems, they’ve finally made it official.
