Hello March and goodbye summer.
We hope you’ve had a refreshing February to get you into the spirit of the new year, now we’re officially into the third month of the year.
Soak up the last few days of sun, at an outdoor event such as the Heathfield High School Jazz on the Lawn event on Saturday.
Pack in your picnic baskets, blanket and camp chairs and check out the jazzy line-up with bands the Cape Collective, Perfect 5th, Heathfield High School Band, Reposition, 159 on Lawson from the Camillo Lombard Academy, and with special guests Claire Phillips and Salome.

The fun starts from noon onwards, entry is R60 per person and children under 12 enter free.
The CANSA Relay For Life takes place at Westridge High School tonight from 6pm until 6am on Saturday.

This year the theme is Carnival and entry is R900 per team.
If you just want to visit and say hi, the entry is R20 and children under 12 pay R10.
Relay For Life is an overnight event consisting of teams of 10 to 15 people spending up to 12 hours walking or running around a track.

The event is a celebration of cancer survivors, remembering those who passed away, and encourages communities to join the fight against cancer.
