Although the events are skaars this weekend, there are still a few faithful club nights where you can stiek uit.
On Saturday, Impulse Group will officially launch their Cape Town chapter at the historic 6 Spin Street in the CBD and have invited a number of LGBTI+ organisations and individuals to join them to celebrate this special occasion.
The event is FREE.
Impulse Group is an NGO that was founded 10 years ago by Jose Ramos in Los Angeles.
They promote healthy sexual lifestyles among gay men around the world.
With support from the Aids Healthcare Foundation (AHF), this group of volunteers works to create campaigns, events and online content to reach a new generation of gay men who live in a modern and rapidly evolving world.

“We are a group of sex-positive men promoting safer sex in fun and creative ways.
“Our goal is to create an inclusive community for queer bodies in Cape Town in which they feel comfortable enough to openly discuss issues pertaining to their bodies, sexual and mental health,” says Ashraf Booley, Impulse Cape Town’s president.
There will be performances by Yanga Ya Ya, Manila Von Teez and Androgenius.
There will be an after-party at Zer021 Social Club from 10 pm.
With the colder weather picking up, we are all looking for indoor entertainment.
Stiek uit at Artscape for Mama, a character-piece showcased through poetry and physical theatre that focuses on the Afrikaaps dialect.
Chenal Kock explains: “This story is important because it is based on my life experiences as an artist and woman of colour.”
