Fury at Kylie’s R105 hand sanitiser

Fans say Kylie Jenner has gone too far by launching her own brand of hand sanitiser, accusing her of profiting off the pandemic.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was excited to reveal to fans that she had released a new Kylie Skin hand sanitiser in a baby pink spray bottle.

The mum of one unveiled her latest product on social media, on sale for $7 (about R105) for a 60ml botteltjie.

While many fans couldn’t wait to get their hands on the hand sanitiser, some were not impressed with the deal.

On Tuesday, Kylie, 23 confirmed that the hand sanitiser had dropped on her beauty website.

She wrote: “my @kylieskin hand sanitizer is here!! White heart 80% alcohol, fast drying, and formulated with glycerin to prevent dryness!”

However, fans were quick to criticise the move.

“Kylie really made kylie skin hand sanitizer............. like? Let’s profit off a pandemic,” wrote one follower.

“kylie jenner really out here selling HAND SANITIZER as if it’s something special,” added another.

A third joked: “or 4 interest free payments of 1.75 you could have your very own overpriced kylie sanitizer... Kylie’s selling hand sanitizer now lol jeezus. And mf’s gonna buy it."

Another wrote: “Can you release a vaccine already?

”Kylie is not the only one in the Kardashian-Jenner clan to have been accused of cashing in on the Covid-19 pandemic.

In March 2020 Kim Kardashian came under fire for promoting her Skims collection in a post where she committed $1 million to Corona relief fund.
