These artists have performed for Marmalade Productions over the years and CEO Godfrey Vollenhoven says they were the perfect choice for this milestone event.
“We want to celebrate our 10 years in style,” he says.
“All these amazing artists have performed in Marmalade concerts over the last 10 years and will be backed by music maestro Camillo Lombard and his band.”
Marmalade Productions has hosted nearly 90 sold-out shows across the country, including 19 concerts at GrandWest.
Mujahid George says performing with Tevin is a dream come true. “Growing up to the sounds of this unique individual was part of any Capetonian’s life who was born in the ’80s. Now I get to stand on the same stage with this legend who was produced by Quincy Jones.”
Kumalo says this year is a milestone for her: “I will never forget my first concert with Marmalade 10 years ago, it started this fire within me.
“The honour of performing with international acts was the best experience, but sharing it with Tevin is an achievement.”
The show is on at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, on 27 July. Tickets cost R195 to R350 and are available at Computicket.
