Miché Solomon aka Zephany Nurse also does not believe in the “fairytale” of Sylvia, the woman who her steelma says sold the baby to her for R800.
This was revealed during an explosive radio interview on Thursday, where the 22-year-old mother of two also revealed that her relationship with her biological parents have broken down, and that the father of her eldest child had been married during their relationship.
She also said it was a huge shock when she found out she was pregnant with her second child, but it was her kidnapper, Lavona Solomon, who had convinced her not to have an abortion.
Speaking on Cape Talk 567 to John Maytham, Miché said there were “brutal reasons” for her cutting ties with Celeste and Morné Nurse- which she talks about in the book - but that was not shutting the door on a reconciliation.
Miché spoke to John Maytham on 5567 Cape Talk and said there were “brutal reasons” for her cutting ties with Celeste and Morné Nurse.
“I’ve accepted that they are broken people,” the young woman said.
Following a request from Miché, the Gauteng High Court this week lifted a ban on her identity to be revealed.
Miché said a publisher was ready to release her book, called Zephany, which has her face on the cover.
Zephany was stolen from her mother’s side at the Groote Schuur Hospital on 30 April 1997.
The book tells the story of how she dealt with the aftermath after her true identity was discovered in February 2015.
Zephany Nurse's tell-all book was launched this week.
Lavona, 53, who was convicted for the kidnapping that made world headlines over two decades ago, claimed in court that she had bought three-day old Zephany from a woman named Sylvia at Wynberg train station.
But Judge President Yahya Hlophe dismissed this claim as a “fairytale”.
She was convicted to 10 years in jail for kidnapping and contravening the children’s act, of which she has already served three years at the Worcester Women’s prison.
Miché said on Thursday she might never know the truth about her kidnapping but that it didn’t matter as she loved Lavona.
She said she often writes to Lavona, telling her that she can’t hate her, but admits: “I had my share of anger and resentment in the beginning towards her.”

Miché said knowing the truth about her kidnapping would bring closure to her and that she has accepted the fact that Lavona stole her, as opposed to buying her from Sylvia.
“Because Mommy, there is just no evidence of Sylvia and I’m forced to believe the evidence that there is,” she said.
Talking about her relationship with the Nurses, Miché said boundaries were crossed and certain things took place that was “very disturbing” for her to see.
She said coming from a loving family home, she could not deal with the divorced Nurses who “did not get along”.
She said at first they tried to build a relationship by having sleep-overs “but they (the Nurses) were broken.”
She admitted their marriage may have broken down because she was stolen and they never recovered.
Miche said she could not deal with the fact that Morné and Celeste Nurse “did not get along".
The young woman said while she didn’t want to badmouth anyone, she found Celeste to be “unreliable” and who had broken her hard-won trust on several occasions, while her “father” Morné was very different from her “daddy” Michael, whom she hero-worships.
She said she wished Morné could have dealt with situations more sensitively, and not as “roughly” as he did.
She said she doesn’t visit Lavona as often as before but that both she and Michael were willing to rebuild their trust in her from scratch.
Miché has put her studies into social work on hold while she is promoting her book.
