Yesterday, team members from Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages (CCPB) handed over brand-new school shoes to 113 learners at Edendale Primary School in Manenberg.
“It brings us great joy to be able to provide brand-new school shoes for more than 100 children of Edendale Primary, who were without shoes or had very well-worn out shoes at the start of the school year,” says Priscilla Urquhart, Public Affairs and Communications Manager for Coca-Cola Peninsula Beverages.
“We are committed to our purpose of making a difference that matters through ongoing community initiatives and CSI projects.
“The happy smiles from the children who received the school shoes was worth every effort our South team put into this initiative.”
She said Edendale Primary School’s value of the month for learners to focus on is kindness.
“They believe that no act of kindness is ever wasted, no matter how small.
“The CCPB team was proud to bring this value to life through the school shoe donation.”
