AMERICAN hitmakers Summer Walker and Travis Scott are finally headed to the Motherland.
Walker will be innie Kaap in October to headline popular music festival, Rocking the Daisies Cape Town.
Festival organisers Steyn Entertainment announced the exciting news on social media: “IT’S HAPPENING. Lover Girls/Boys, this is the moment! @summerwalker is headlining Rocking the Daisies 2025 ✨
“You’ve streamed the albums, cried to the lyrics, and now it’s time to experience it LIVE. This is history in the making.”
The Girls Need Love hitmaker also posted that she would be performing in the country, confirming the news.
Last year, Walker fans in South Africa were almost scammed after a suspicious music festival “Tomorrow Can Wait”, popped up.
The fake festival was advertised as taking place at Legends Adventure Farm & MX Track in April 2025 and had a list of exciting international acts, including Walker, Lauryn Hill, Gunna, and Teddy Swims, who were said to be performing at the event.
Meanwhile, rapper Travis Scott is set to bring the house down when he performs at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on 11 October as part of his extended "Circus Maximus" World Tour.
South Africa has firmly established itself as a premier destination for international music sensations, with recent performances by global stars like Chris Brown and Tems highlighting the nation's vibrant and diverse music scene.
