Seeing as it’s a Leap Year, AKA thought he’d try to do a stage dive during a performance, which went horribly wrong, in Rustenburg, North West, over the weekend.
But in a failed attempt at crowd surfing, fans gave way, and instead of catching the rapper, stepped aside, letting him crash to the floor.
Videos of the unfortunate stunt, made by members of the crowd, show AKA, 32, on stage, taking a step back as he sets himself for his jump.
He throws himself into the crowd, who seem more concerned with filming the incident on their cellphones than catching or helping the star up afterwards.
Instead, they leave Supa Mega lying on his back, his one hand covering his eyes, his other still holding the mic.
He appears to be crying, but bravely continues to sing his track, Congratulate, through tears.
Tweeps can be nasty, and had a field day sharing the videos.
Some joked that the Mitchells Plain star should’ve known better than to go crowd surfing in Rustenburg, which is his bitter rival Cassper Nyovest’s home province.
@antigravitylite tweeted: “Aka tried jumping on the crowd, thinking they will catch him. It ended in tears. Wicked fans.”

Meanwhile, you’ll notice in the clips that the Fela in Versace hitmaker wasn’t sporting his new twist dreads.
Yah ... too heavy. Made my neck itch. Also made me sweat too much 😞 https://t.co/qbdXLKTWFK
