KANYE West and ex-wife Kim Kardashian are engaged in a hewige fight after Kanye dragged their daughter North West into the Diddy scandal.
Kanye on Saturday posted a new song on X called LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE in apparent support of Diddy, real name Sean Combs.
Combs is currently in the mang, awaiting trial for sex trafficking and racketeering. The Bad Boy Records founder also appeared in a Manhattan court last Friday on forced labour charges, to which he pleaded not guilty.
Always seemingly in search of attention, Kanye put out the new track, in which he called Diddy “a father figure”.
The song features Diddy, Diddy's son Christian "King" Combs and North.
The track opens with what sounds like Diddy’s voice thanking Kanye for his support, mentioning that no one else has reached out to him while he remains in jail.
Kanye then responds by calling Diddy a father figure, even before they knew each other personally.
North makes a brief but noticeable appearance, rapping: “When you see me shining, then you see the light”, while Christian Combs delivers his own verse.
According to a DailyMail.com source, Kim took legal action to prevent the track's release and is now “working to get the song down off of X”.
After the post, Kanye took the platform again to add screenshots of a lelike text exchange with the mother of his four children.
Before the screengrabs were deleted, the texts show Kanye replying to Kim, saying: “I’m never speaking with you again,” along with a snippet of what appeared to be a legal document, including the phrase: 'participation in this project,' presumably in reference to the new song.
Kim writes: “I asked u at the time if I can trademark her name,” alleging: “You said yes,” and adding: “When she’s 18 it goes to her”.
She adds: “I sent paper work over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song To protect her”.
Kanye though goes mal and says: “Amend it or I'm going to war And neither of us will recover from the public fallout,” before adding: “You’re going to have to kill me”.
