Idols SA Season 14 winner Yanga Sobetwa bought her first house on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old songstress took to social media to express her excitement.
In a lengthy caption to a picture she posted of herself and her agent outside the new house, Yanga wrote: “It’s another GOOD MORNING for the Young-lights. I finally purchased a property for my family and I, God is Good man!!! I write this in disbelief.
“Thank you to my parents who helped me make wise decisions and for your prayers and support.
“I’m about to go on tour in Port Elizabeth, finishing my matric, have a car, have an album, ngi julis’ ukubonga know, this is me thanking God for everything he’s done for me and everything I’ve wanted to achieve before the age of 20, not bragging but showing people that God can do it for you too.”

Yanga was the youngest ever Idols winner - bagging R1 million in cash and a Ford Focus.
And she’s used her good fortune to improve her family’s living conditions.
She will be moving to a new two-bedroom house from the council house she shared with her parents and sister in Delft.

“We are still keeping the other house, but this one will be another one we have.
“I’m not sure who will be living in the new house with me yet,” she says.
“I feel liberated moving out of the area I grew up in. We had a lot of traumatic experiences in Delft, but also have some good memories with my childhood friends.”
Yanga told the Daily Voice that the decision to move was always on her family’s wishlist.
“It feels good to be able to stand up on our own in a safer environment because I can’t take a walk in Delft, it’s almost impossible. I have to drive to the shop,” she says.

“I needed to put my money somewhere, so I won’t lose it in any form.”
Yanga says she doesn’t have her driving licence yet and depends on her father to drive her around in her own car.
The teen is currently doing her matric.
