The 30-year-old died on the scene after he was shot in Hengelaar Street, Beacon Valley.
Captain FC van Wyk says a murder docket has been opened.
“On Tuesday evening, Mitchells Plain police attended to a complaint of a shooting in Hengelaar Street in Beacon Valley at about 8.40pm.
“Upon arrival, police saw a male aged 30 years old, who had been fatally wounded. The victim passed away on the scene. No arrests have been made as yet.”
