Jacob Zuma’s soon-to-be next wife Nonkanyiso Conco has been forced to resign as an executive committee member of an NGO advocating for young women’s rights.
Her resignation came less than 24 hours after the NGO - She Conquers (SC) - requested that she step down because her relationship with the former prez was “contrary to the principles and goals of the campaign”.
Zuma has reportedly paid lobolo for the 24-year-old, who gave birth to a boy on 12 April - Zuma’s birthday - at a Durban hospital.
It is believed that the former president is the baby daddy.
Leonora Mathe, deputy chairperson of SC, confirmed that Conco resigned on Sunday, reports The Star.
SC is a national response campaign launched in June 2016 by then deputy president, Cyril Ramaphosa.
