Family of deceased person Johannes Van Wyk requested to contact Mitchell’s Plain Police

Mitchells plain police are seeking for assistance of the public at large to identify the body of the deceased 36 -year-old Johannes Van Wyk. 

The Police members received a complaint of a body lying in an open field at first avenue Eastridge opposite next to the Mitchell’s Plain Day Hospital on the 02/11/2018 at about 14:55. According to information the deceased  last resided at 15 Good Hope Street, Heinz Park in Nyanga. 

An Inquest case docket was opened for further investigation and as well  post mortem was completed as it has been mentioned that  the cause of death was determined to be natural causes.  

At the time of his death he was wearing blue pants, red top, black shoes and a Vodacom T-shirt. Mitchell’s Plain Police urgently request  the assistance of his family to come and  identify the body of the deceased at the Salt River Mortuary, anyone with information about the where about of the deceased family is urgently requested to contact the investigating officer Constable Jonathan Jacobs at Mitchell’s Plain Police Station or call 021 370 1617.
