'ILLEGAL ALIEN' KHABY REMOVED BY US

TIKTOK megastar Khaby Lame has left the USA after he was detained by immigration authorities.

The 25-year-old Senegalese-born Italian citizen was taken into custody by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Friday.

In a statement released to AFP, ICE said, “US Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Seringe Khabane Lame, 25, a citizen of Italy, 6 June, at the Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada, for immigration violations.”

According to the agency, Lame entered the US on 30 April 2025, on a non-immigrant visa but “overstayed the terms of his visa”.

A rival TikTokker, Bo Loudon took credit for piemping the platform’s most-followed star – with 162 million followers.

Loudon posted on his X account on 7 June: “ICE just CONFIRMED my report the biggest TikTok star, far-left Khaby Lame, was DETAINED in Las Vegas yesterday for ‘overstaying the terms of his VISA,’ per an email to Men’s Journal. I’ve been working with President Trump’s DHS to make this happen.”

Loudon later called Khaby “an illegal alien”.

After being detained, Lame was granted voluntary departure, a provision that allows foreign nationals to leave the United States on their own rather than face formal removal proceedings.

ICE confirmed that he was released the same day and has since left the country. 

No further legal action is expected as a result of the voluntary departure.

As of yet, Lame has not commented publicly on the incident
