VICTIM: Three men were shot dead in Delft

COPS have arrested a suspect linked to a triple murder case in Delft.
Residents were shocked to find the bodies of three men lying dead in Leiden on Sunday morning.
Police spokesperson Colonel Andre Traut confirmed that detectives were investigation the killings and more boots are on the ground to curb the ongoing gang violence.
Traut reported: "Anti-Gang Unit detectives have initiated an investigation into three counts of murder following a shooting incident in Sandrivier Street, Leiden, Delft, at approximately 5.30am.
"The motive for the attack is believed to be gang related. Police deployments in the Delft policing precinct have been bolstered as part of ongoing efforts to stabilise the area and curb gang-related violence.”
Police spokesperson Constable Ndakhe Gwala confirmed yesterday that members of Operation Shanela II nabbed a 25-year-old linked to the mass shooting on Monday evening.
Gwala reported: Members followed up on intelligence and arrested a 25-year-old male suspect for murder.
“The suspect was apprehended at around 7pm in Bordaair Street, Voorbug, Delft yesterday.
“He was found with a firearm holster and an amount of R7400.
“Both the holster and the cash were confiscated, and more arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
“The suspect will make his first court appearance in the Bellville Magistrate’s court, once charged.”
