The cop then asks him: “Moet ek die graaf haal”, and the ou says: “Nee meneer” and wails louder.
Police spokesperson, Captain FC van Wyk confirmed the man’s arrested and detention.
He said he was arrested within days of allegedly committing the crime.
Van Wyk reports: “Bellville-South Police arrested an adult male yesterday, Wednesday, 12 March 2025 in connection with the theft of a laptop and other items which were recovered.
“Members followed up on information about the suspect who attempted to sell the laptop.
“Preliminary investigation suggests that the suspect gained an unnoticed entrance to the station premises on Friday, 7 March 2025 at about 12.45am and took the laptop and other personal items.
