Alleged child snatcher Moehydien Pangaker, 54, has been arrested in Cradock.
According to sources close to the investigation the man accused of kidnapping eight-year-old Tazne Van Wyk from Ravensmead was caught by the Western Cape Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit along with Crime Intelligence.
It is not yet clear if Tazne was with him. Western Cape Police have yet to confirm the arrest.
Tazne went missing from her home in Clare Street, Ravensmead on February 7.

Pangaker became a suspect after a witness saw him walking with the Grade 3 pupil from Eurecon Primary School.
Since Tazne's disappearance Community Safety MEC, Albert Fritz, has offered a R10 000 reward for information which leads to the location of Tazne van Wyk and Pangaker
On Saturday hundreds of volunteers gathered at Tazne's home as they participated in a door-to-door search for her.
