THE Amphitheatre at the V&A Waterfront is about to be lit this Saturday as the FUJIFILM Instax Undisputed Breaking World Championship returns to Cape Town.
This will be the second Undisputed event in South Africa, after the success of the breathtaking first edition that rocked the Mother City earlier this year, bringing together elite solo dancers and top crews from not just the African continent but across the globe.
This qualifier leads directly to the Undisputed World Final in Tokyo, taking place in March 2026. Winners in Solo and Crew categories will book themselves a trip to Japan to represent their region on the world stage.
Set against the backdrop of the iconic waterfront and Table Mountain, the event is free to attend and open to fans of the sport, dance and Hip Hop culture of all ages.
Tyrone van den Meer, Project Lead of the FUJIFILM Instax Undisputed Breaking World Championship is hyped to have the tournament back innie Kaap.
He said: “After the success of our first event in Cape Town earlier this year, there was no doubt we would return to the Mother City. We are excited to make Cape Town one of the official stops in the Undisputed series going forward.”
Be sure to attend and witness an electrifying lineup that includes the world’s top breakers alongside Africa’s finest.
The Open Qualifier starts at 1pm and the main event starts at 6.30pm and remember, it is free.
