The ou has appeared in the Daily Voice in 2018 when a Mitchells Plain woman claimed she was scammed out of R17 000 by him after he was supposed to build her a Nutec house in July 2018.
Arlene described her experience as follows: “I saw on Facebook this LEC Real Estate Group and pictures and that he comes highly recommended. I contacted him and on 18 November. He came to my house and quoted me R33 000. He showed me pictures of all the work he can do and promised he is a man of God and genuine.
“The next day I signed the contract and I sent him a R15 000 deposit because I trusted him.
“The Monday, my partner took him to buy more material worth R10 000. On 25 November the guys came to work and I said I am not happy with the quality. I spoke to the guys who said they don’t know [this guy], he picked them up by the robot but he told me he has his own company."
