Fatally stabbed Man stabbed at Delft Mall

A man believed to be a taxi guard was stabbed to death on Tuesday morning in the parking area at Delft Mall in Delft.
The incident took place around 11.45am when the man was fatally stabbed in the chest and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. His lifeless body was lying on the ground next to the taxi as mense looked on.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg confirmed that a murder case is under investigation.
Twigg reported: “Delft police registered a murder case for investigation following a stabbing incident on Tuesday, 16 December 2025, at about 11.45am, in the parking area of a shopping mall in Delft.
“Police members were called to the crime scene where they found the victim with a stab wound to his chest. The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel.
“The circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation and no arrests have been made yet.”

Another murder case is also under investigation after a 20-year-old man was shot and killed in Ravensmead on Monday afternoon.
According to police, the deceased was involved in an argument before he was shot dead in Blake Street around 12.30pm. The suspect took off and is yet to be arrested.
Sergeant Twigg confirmed that a murder case was registered for investigation.
Twigg reported: “According to reports the victim and the suspect had an argument before he was shot. The victim was declared deceased on the scene by medical personnel. The suspect fled the scene and is yet to be arrested. A murder case was registered for investigation.”
