A Kensington woman says she wants to expose a pornographic WhatsApp group run by men who degrade local women and girls by posting their private nude selfies and self-masturbating videos.
The 27-year-old says she was alerted by a friend two weeks ago that pictures of her have been circulating on a group called Coloureds Nude Network (CNN).
“On Sunday, 26 May, a friend contacted me telling me pictures of me were circulating on this group,” she says.
The woman says the two photos, showing her lying naked on a couch and in the shower, were taken about 10 years ago by a professional photographer for her modelling portfolio.
She says CNN has since been shut down, but a new group, called In The Zone, popped up in its place.
She says she gained access to the group by following a link on Twitter, which was an invitation to join the group.
New WhatsApp group In The Zone used to post kaal images
“The group is disgusting. These men, young and old, single and married, degrade women,” she says.
“They share pictures of women they’ve been with sexually or even pictures of young girls. At times, these men post pictures from a woman’s Facebook profile and ask if there’s ‘any dirt on this one?’”
She says she has no idea how her pictures ended up on the group.
“The pictures were taken when I was 16 or 17 years old. After someone said I was deceased, the pictures were removed from the group.
“I have since deactivated my social media accounts. I don’t know how these people got my pictures. The only thing I can think of is that the photographer’s camera may have been stolen.
“If this comes out, I can land into serious trouble at work. What about my reputation. I am getting married later this year,” the angry woman says.
The Daily Voice has seen some of the hundreds of photos posted on the group of women and girls in the nude.
It is not clear which of the women are local.

Some of the comments on the pictures are: “Van waar is die ding? Is sy op Facebook? Dis maar nou een lekker **** nuh.”
Also: “Hoe doen sy dit? Is she very willing?”
In the group, a woman was removed after she confronted the men.
Her message read: “...f*** you pathetic people, come we post nudes of your parents, and of your girlfriends and sisters (sic).”
The Daily Voice contacted two of the numbers in the group and asked why women are being degraded?
Both men refused to answer, hastily switching off their phones.
