The body of a Malawian woman, believed to have fallen off a mountain during a freak accident while taking a hike in Hout Bay, has been identified by her husband.
The remains of the woman, only known as Amy, was discovered on Tuesday along the slopes of Karbonkel Berg in Hangberg.
Police have since opened an inquest docket for investigation as no foul play was suspected.

On Wednesday, Amy’s husband identified her body at the morgue.
The Daily Voice team visited Amy’s family yesterday and attempted calling them, but they were unavailable for comment and they were busy at the mortuary.
