Whenever a marque brings out its fastest accelerating and most powerful car to date, Bobby Nitro takes notice.
This week Kia confirmed that, following a surprise appearance at Kyalami last year, it would be bringing a limited number of the Kia Stinger to our shores this year. This is a multiple award winning car, boasting a 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine in a sleek package that makes it a true Gran Turismo and a runaway success across the globe.

Gary Scott, CEO of Kia South Africa, says: “It is not about outright power, hard-edged dynamics and brutal styling at the expense of luxury, comfort and grace. Instead, it’s a driver’s car equally suitable for spirited long-distance driving and everyday enjoyment.”
The high-performance engine develops 272kW of power and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that drives power to the rear wheels, giving the Stinger a zero to 100km/h sprint time of 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 270km/h .
