Jan Olde Riekerink says it’s the same old story with his Cape Town City side after they lost 3-0 at Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday.
In a disappointing game for City, they created more chances than their hosts, firing five shots on target to their opponents’ four.
Kermit Erasmus, Thabo Nodada and Surprise Ralani went close and kept the Chiefs defence busy throughout the clash.
But they were undone by Chiefs’ aerial prowess three times, which Riekerink reckons cost them against in a 2-2 with AmaZulu last time out too - something they must sort out.
After goals from Leonardo Castro, Samir Nurkovic and Eric Mathoho, Riekerink says: “Football is about scoring goals and they score three and we score none then you don’t get any points. I think we didn’t start well, but the guys were very committed and determined.

“We got three very good opportunities early on, so again we have every game the same story, we play good but we have to finalise these chances.
“In the end we get three high balls, the same as against AmaZulu and they were three goals.”
