Cape Town City owner John Comitis wants to spoil Kaizer Chiefs’ 50th anniversary and dent their PSL title push when the sides meet this weekend.
Struggling City go into the Soccer City clash needing to bounce back from their disappointing 2-2 draw with AmaZulu on Wednesday night.
After Surprise Ralani and Roland Putsche put them 2-0 up at Cape Town Stadium, they let the visitors back into the game with two Bongi Ntuli goals.
It leaves City three points above the foot of the table with just one win from new coach Jan Olde Riekerink’s first six games in charge.
But Comitis still believes that the Dutchman is on the right track and he can get the team motivated for a big game against Amakhosi.

In an interview with Robert Marawa, he says: “There is still a long way to go and there will be a few more surprises along the way.
“Chiefs have slipped a bit and pressure mounts. Pressure is a funny thing.
“Every game is a cup final for us. By no means are we out of the woods. “We have to be honest.”
In-form Chiefs hitman Leonardo Castro, meanwhile, says they will take their title push “step by step”.

After a brace in Wednesday night’s 3-0 win over Highlands Park that took them six points clear at the top, he says: “We all want to be a champ so we’re working hard, we all know, so step by step we’ll get it.”
The Cape’s other club, Stellenbosch, are also fighting the threat of relegation and face a tough trip to Highlands Park on Saturday (3.30pm).
